By accessing or using our website, making a payment, registering for a program, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Definitions
- “Site” refers to our website at [yourwebsite.org] and all its subpages and applications.
- “Services” means any program, training, camp, retreat, donation platform, or other offering made available by us.
- “User,” “you,” or “your” means any person accessing or using the Site or Services.
2. Eligibility and Acceptance
- You must be at least 18 years old to register for Services or make a payment.
- If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to register or submit personal information.
- By using the Site or purchasing Services, you confirm that you have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms.
3. Registration & Program Policies
- Application Process: You must complete our online registration forms fully and accurately. Failure to supply required information (including medical or emergency-contact details) may result in denial of participation.
- Acceptance Confirmation: Your spot in a program is only confirmed once we receive full payment (or valid payment plan enrollment) and send you a confirmation email.
- Waitlists: If a program is full, you may be placed on a waitlist; placement on a waitlist does not guarantee a spot.
4. Payment Terms
- Fees & Rates: All program fees, training rates, and retreat costs are listed on our Site and are subject to change. The rate in effect at the time you register or contract shall apply.
- Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, ACH bank transfers, and stock or planned gifts (for donations). Payments are processed securely via our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe, GiveSmart).
- Payment Plans: For eligible programs (e.g., Staff Assistant Experience), you may choose an installment plan. You must enroll prior to the first due date and keep payments current.
- Sales Tax: All fees are exclusive of any applicable federal, state, or local taxes. You are responsible for paying any such taxes.
- Currency: All transactions are processed in U.S. dollars (USD).
5. Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds
- Program Cancellations by You:
- Overnight & Day Camps: Full refund (minus a $100 administrative fee) if canceled more than 60 days before start date. 50% refund between 30–60 days. No refunds if canceled within 30 days.
- Staff Assistant Experience: No refunds after program begins. A partial refund may be issued (at our sole discretion) if you withdraw before the first day.
- Training & Retreats: Full refund (minus 10% administrative fee) if canceled more than 30 days prior; 50% refund between 15–30 days; no refund within 15 days.
- Program Transfers: Transfers to another session or program are subject to availability and may incur a $50 transfer fee.
- Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be credited via the original payment method within 14 business days.
- Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any program for safety, low enrollment, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you may choose a full refund or transfer to a future date.
6. License & Intellectual Property
- All Site content (text, graphics, logos, images, video, and software) is our property or licensed to us and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.
- You may view, print, and download a single copy of materials solely for personal, non-commercial use, provided you retain all copyright and proprietary notices.
- No other use, modification, reproduction, or distribution is permitted without our express written consent.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post or transmit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or threatening content.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site’s security or functionality.
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state an affiliation.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Site without permission.
8. Privacy & Data
Your use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Site and Services, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described therein.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- No Medical or Therapeutic Advice: Information on the Site is educational. Our programs support social and emotional growth but do not replace clinical treatment or professional diagnosis.
- “As Is” Basis: THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OR AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES.
